Maisie Williams made her professional acting debut in 2011, captivating audiences as Arya Stark in HBO’s critically acclaimed fantasy television series, ‘Game of Thrones.’ This career-defining role brought her international recognition and critical acclaim throughout the show’s eight-season run, from 2011 to 2019. For her performance, Williams received numerous accolades, including the EWwy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama and the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor. Her early recognition also includes the Portal Award for Best Young Actor in 2012, and the Portal Award for Best Supporting Actress – Television in the same year. She was further nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series – Supporting Young Actress in 2013, and won the BBC Radio 1 Teen Award for Best British Actor in 2013.

Extending her commitment to environmental advocacy, Williams became the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) first global ambassador for climate and nature in 2021.
