World class English footballer Marcus Rashford is a forward for Manchester United, as well as being part of the national squad.
A prodigious footballer from a young age, Rashford has been part of the Manchester United club since he was seven years old. He quickly shone as a talented player, scoring in his debut senior match and bursting onto the scene in the UEFA Europa League in 2016. He became the youngest player ever to score in the competition and the following year enjoyed more success at a European level. Rashford helped Manchester United claim the Europa League Final trophy and in 2017 came third in the Golden Boy award standings. With his career going from strength to strength, Rashford was by now a mainstay of the side, as well as putting in strong performances for the England team. He was part of the squad for the Euro 2016, and in 2018 played in the FIFA World Cup, helping the team to achieve their best result in the competition since 1990. He also led the team to qualify for Euro 2020, with goals in numerous international games leading up to the competition.
As well as his sporting prowess, Rashford has also become known for his charitable work, becoming an ambassador for food charity FareShare and campaigning to extend the free school meals scheme for children in the UK. Despite being just 22 years old, this footballer and public figure is already an inspiration and role model to the next generation.
