Maria Antonelli

Maria Antonelli is a Brazilian beach volleyball player recognized for her competitive career and participation in the Olympic Games. After establishing herself as a significant presence in beach volleyball, representing Brazil in various international competitions, Maria Antonelli went on to compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Partnering with Talita Antunes, the duo advanced from Group E before being eliminated in the last 16 by the Czech team of Kristýna Kolocová and Markéta Sluková. Antonelli’s dedication to the sport culminated in a bronze medal at the 2015 Beach Volleyball World Championships in The Hague, where she competed alongside Juliana Silva.

Throughout her decorated career, Antonelli formed notable partnerships, demonstrating consistent elite performance. From 2009 to 2012, she partnered with Talita Antunes, a collaboration that included their Olympic appearance. Later, her partnership with Juliana Silva proved highly successful, culminating in their 2014 recognition as the Women’s FIVB Beach World Tour Winner.
