Sara Hughes

Sara Hughes is an Olympic beach volleyball player, world champion, and a multiple-time AVP and FIVB World Tour medalist, known for her record-breaking collegiate career and continuous success on the professional circuit. After achieving a remarkable 103-match winning streak with Kelly Claes (Cheng) between her sophomore and senior years, Sara Hughes established herself as a formidable force in collegiate beach volleyball. A two-time Pairs National Champion with partners Kirby Burnham and later Kelly (Claes) Cheng, Hughes also played a pivotal role in securing three Team National Championships for the USC Trojans. During her tenure at the University of Southern California, she was recognized as a four-time All-American, concluding her collegiate career with an impressive 190-8 record.
