Marilyn Ghigliotti is an American actress, producer, director, and make-up artist, widely recognized for her role as Veronica Loughran in Kevin Smith’s film “Clerks” and its sequels. After being cast as Veronica Loughran in Kevin Smith’s critically acclaimed independent film ‘Clerks’ in 1994, Marilyn Ghigliotti solidified her presence in the film industry. Her iconic performance as Veronica Loughran garnered widespread recognition, establishing her as a distinctive talent. Prior to her breakthrough role, Ghigliotti honed her craft through intensive studies at the Actors Training Institute in Red Bank, New Jersey, under the tutelage of John Eyd, a respected member of the Actors Studio in New York.

Following approximately two years of dedicated training, she gained extensive stage experience performing in numerous classic plays within community theater productions across Southern New Jersey. Ghigliotti later reprised her memorable role as Veronica Loughran in two highly anticipated sequels, ‘Jay and Silent Bob Reboot’ (2019) and ‘Clerks III’ (2022), demonstrating the enduring impact of her original character. Expanding her career beyond acting, Ghigliotti transitioned into various behind-the-camera roles, relocating to Los Angeles to further immerse herself in the production aspects of the entertainment industry. During this period, she acquired valuable hands-on experience by working in salons and as a freelance hair and make-up artist for numerous productions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of diverse on-set demands.
