Mario Teguh has transitioned from a successful banking career to becoming a renowned motivational speaker and consultant in Indonesia. After earning a Bachelor of Education degree from IKIP Malang and pursuing studies in International Business at Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan, Mario Teguh completed his MBA in Operations Systems at Indiana University in 1983. This robust academic background propelled him into a distinguished career within the banking sector. He served as Head of Sales at Citibank Indonesia from 1983 to 1986, followed by Manager Business Development at BSB Bank from 1986 to 1989.
