Nicole Kirkland began her dance journey at the age of two, cultivating her skills through various studios, dance companies, and conventions. By sixteen, she was already teaching, and at twenty, she transitioned into a professional choreographer within the industry. Her career highlights include choreographing for prominent artists such as Prince, Teyana Taylor, CeeLo Green, K. Michelle, Kehlani, Paloma Ford, and Tayla Parx. She has also worked with numerous other musicians, including Liv Warfield, E-40, 3rdEyeGirl, Iakopo, and Judith Hill.
Beyond her work in the music industry, Nicole Kirkland has made substantial contributions to the community dance scene. She has choreographed for well-known hip-hop companies such as The Lab, immaBEAST, GRV, and Gravy Babies. Her talent was further acknowledged when she became a finalist on Nigel Lythgoe’s “Every Single Step Season 2” choreography competition show, demonstrating her versatility and creative vision in a competitive environment.
