Marios Kapotsis

Marios Kapotsis, an Olympic silver medalist, achieved a historic milestone at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo (held in 2021), where he played a crucial role in securing Greece’s first-ever Olympic medal in men’s water polo. This career-defining accomplishment followed a distinguished foundational period with Olympiacos Water Polo Club in Athina, Greece, from 2012 to 2014. During his tenure, Kapotsis significantly contributed to the team’s domestic dominance, clinching 2 Greek Championships and 2 Greek Cups, establishing himself as a formidable presence in the sport. Following his successful stint with Olympiacos, Kapotsis continued his club career, notably moving to NC Vouliagmeni.
