Their dynamic style was characterized by intricate footwork, fluid movements, and exceptional musical interpretation, establishing Balan as a preeminent figure in competitive ballroom dancing. Following this illustrious period, Balan formed a new formidable partnership with Khrystyna Moshenska in December 2014, representing Germany. Key early successes included multiple 2nd and 3rd place finishes at prestigious events such as the GrandSlam Latin in Stuttgart (August 2015, August 2016, August 2017), European Championship Latin in Rimini (July 2016), and World Championship Latin in Vienna (November 2015, November 2017).
