Mark Tacher

Mark Tacher was born on September 17, 1977, in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He pursued formal education in the performing arts, studying acting at Azteca CEFAT (El Centro de Formación de Actores para la Televisión) in Mexico from 1997 to 1999. His artistic development extended to music, where he studied guitar, singing, and DJ techniques at Academia G. Martell in Mexico. From 2005 to 2006, Tacher further refined his acting skills through advanced techniques with Professor Nelson Ortega in Venezuela.

Tacher’s career began in television as a host for ‘Nintendomanía’ from 1996 to 1998. He transitioned into acting with his debut in ‘Tres veces Sofía’ in 1998. Over the years, he has established himself as a prominent figure in Latin American entertainment, starring in numerous telenovelas across Mexico, Venezuela, and Colombia. Notable roles include ‘Mujer con pantalones’ (2005) for which he received two awards in Venezuela, and ‘La hija del mariachi’ (2006), which achieved international acclaim. He has also appeared in television series such as ‘La Reina del Sur’ (2019-2023), ‘Operación Pacífico’ (2020), and ‘Malverde: El Santo Patrón’ (2021).

In addition to his acting roles, Tacher has expanded his career into production and directing. He served as co-executive producer for ‘The Birthday Cake’ (2021) and producer and director for the television series ‘Inside Tacherman’ (2020). His consistent work across various capacities in the entertainment industry highlights his versatile talent and sustained presence in both traditional and contemporary media.
