Marlo Fisken has developed into a distinguished movement educator and pole dance innovator, sharing her expertise globally. After being crowned the American Pole Fitness Association Female Champion in 2010, Marlo Fisken went on to secure the Aerial Pole International Champion title in 2011. Her innovative contributions to the fitness and pole dance communities were further recognized in 2013 when she was named the International Pole Dance Fitness Associations Instructor of the Year. That same year, Fisken won a prestigious Webby Award in the Online Film and Video category for her work on ‘The Last Goodbye.’ With over three decades of dance study and eighteen years of teaching experience, Fisken is also a graduate of the Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts, majoring in modern dance, and holds a degree in Anthropology and Public Relations from the University of Miami.
Her television appearances span acclaimed shows such as ‘The Colbert Report,’ ’30 Rock,’ ‘Law & Order,’ and ‘America’s Got Talent,’ in addition to roles in films like ‘Rock of Ages’ and ‘Bolden!’. Fisken’s performance prowess has led to collaborations with notable artists including Diddy, Nelly, Pharrell, Fabolous, Kid Rock, Wyclef Jean, and Don Omar. Her versatile work has also extended to partnerships with major corporations and networks such as General Motors, W Hotels, MTV, VH1, and Univision.
