Max Verstappen

The incredibly gifted petrolhead Max Verstappen is a professional racing driver, who competes in Formula 1 for Red Bull Racing. He is a 2x World Champion and competes under the Dutch flag.

Born and raised in Belgium, Verstappen decided to race under the Dutch flag as his father, Jos Verstappen, was a Dutch former Formula 1 driver, and he spent most of his childhood racing in Holland. He had a successful time as a junior racer, competing in KF3, WSK World Series, KZ2, and Formula 3. He then, at 17-years-old, became the youngest driver to compete in Formula 1 when he took part in the 2015 Australian Grand Prix.

Verstappen spent the 2015 season racing for Scuderia Toro Rosso, and during the 2016 campaign was promoted to Red Bull racing. On his Red Bull debut, when he was 18, he won the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix, becoming the youngest ever drive, and the first Dutch one, to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix. He then became the first Dutch driver to win the Formula One World Championship after cruising to victory in the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The following season, he successfully retained the World Championship winning 12 of 18 races.
