Michael Gregory Mizanin, known as The Miz, transitioned from reality television to a decorated WWE Superstar and actor, engaging audiences with his charismatic persona. After establishing his charismatic ‘The Miz’ persona on MTV’s ‘The Real World’ in 2001, Michael Gregory Mizanin transitioned into professional wrestling, debuting with Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW) in 2003. His undeniable screen presence led him to WWE’s ‘Tough Enough’ competition in 2004, where he finished as runner-up, earning a developmental contract. Mizanin further honed his craft at Deep South Wrestling (DSW) and Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) before making his WWE main roster debut in 2006.

Initially serving as a host, he quickly embraced a heel persona, becoming an active competitor and achieving his first major WWE milestone as WWE Tag Team Champion with John Morrison in 2007. The Miz rapidly ascended the ranks, capturing the United States Championship in 2009, followed by his first reign as WWE Champion in 2010. This pivotal period culminated in him headlining WrestleMania XXVII in 2011. He added the Intercontinental Championship to his accolades in 2012, solidifying his status as WWE’s 25th Triple Crown Champion and a Grand Slam Champion that same year.

Most recently, he added another championship to his impressive list, becoming WWE Raw Tag Team Champion with R-Truth in 2024. With nearly two decades of consistent, high-profile achievements, The Miz remains a highly marketable talent, seamlessly blending athletic prowess with a captivating on-screen persona across all entertainment platforms.
