United States Mckenna Grace is an accomplished actress and singer who has made significant contributions to film and television since beginning her career at an early age.
Signed with Photo Finish Records in 2020, leading to the release of her debut single "Haunted House" as part of the 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' soundtrack, and subsequent EPs 'Bittersweet 16' and 'Autumn Leaves'.
Involved in the Ghostbusters franchise, starring as Phoebe Spengler in 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' (2021) and 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' (2024). Her song 'Haunted House' was also included on the 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' soundtrack.
Voiced the character Skye in "PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie" (2023) and contributed the song "Bark to the Beat" to its soundtrack. She is also set to voice Skye in the upcoming "PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie" (2025).
Mckenna Grace was born on June 25, 2006, in Grapevine, Texas. Her interest in acting developed after receiving a collection of Shirley Temple films for her fifth birthday. Her acting teacher advised her to pursue acting professionally, leading to her first commercial role at age five. After securing roles in “Crash & Bernstein” (2012–2014) and “Goodbye World” (2013), her family relocated to Los Angeles, California to support her burgeoning career.
Grace’s career trajectory saw her take on increasingly prominent roles across various genres. A significant turning point came with her starring role as Mary Adler in the drama film “Gifted” (2017), which earned her a Critics’ Choice Movie Award nomination for Best Young Performer. She further expanded her range by portraying younger versions of lead characters in critically acclaimed films like “I, Tonya” (2017) and the commercially successful “Captain Marvel” (2019). Her work in the horror genre, including “The Bad Seed” (2018), “The Haunting of Hill House” (2018), and “Annabelle Comes Home” (2019), established her as a notable presence in the industry.
More recently, Grace has achieved mainstream success through roles such as Esther Keyes in Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” (2021–2022), which garnered her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. She is also widely recognized for her starring role as Phoebe Spengler in the supernatural comedy films “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” (2021) and “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” (2024), receiving critical acclaim for her performances.
