Lip-syncing, funny dubbing and dancing can all be found on the precocious McKenzi Brooke’s TikTok account, where she has amassed an incredible 553.7 million likes and 13.4 million fans. Brooke is a professonial dancer, having been offered the opportunity to dance professionally in her early teens. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, she performed with The Chainsmokers and at Playlist Live with her brother, Reif Harrison, which she counts as one of her greatest memories. Harrison is also well-known online and the two frequently collaborate when creating content for their respective platforms.
Brooke suggested to Harrison that they should record a song together one day to compete in a contest called the ‘Max and Ruby Challenge.’ They were at Walmart around 3 a.m. and had just finished dance rehearsals. It became viral when Brooke posted it the next day. Since then, the pair have been doing social media together. For Brooke, it has been incredible to be able to grow with her brother and pursue possibilities together rather than separately.
In 2020, Brooke appeared in Attaway General, a series that portrays a group of teenagers who volunteer at the Attaway General Hospital in the aim of preparing for future medical careers. It is notable for promoting young talent, including fellow TikTok stars like Dixie D’Amelio. Brooke played the role of Sasha in the show. Attaway General’s first season debuted on YouTube but is now available on Hulu.
