Mckenzie Lyng

McKenzie Lyng, a former professional golfer and Kent State alumna, transitioned from competitive play to co-founding BackSwing Golf Events, a company that facilitates corporate and charity golf events while supporting female professional golfers. After gaining national recognition with her appearance on ‘Big Break Mexico’ on The Golf Channel in 2013, McKenzie Lyng went on to leverage her extensive experience as a professional golfer to co-found BackSwing Golf Events in 2015. Prior to her television appearance, Lyng pursued a collegiate golf career at Kent State University, earning a degree in Marketing, and then competed professionally on tours such as the Cactus Tour and the Canadian Tour, demonstrating her deep understanding of the professional golf landscape. In 2015, McKenzie Lyng co-founded BackSwing Golf Events, a groundbreaking company designed to facilitate corporate and charity golf events by integrating female professional golfers.

Through both her philanthropic endeavors and the ongoing work with BackSwing Golf Events, Lyng continues to emphasize sustainable career progression and diverse opportunities within the golf industry beyond traditional touring.
