Megan Lorraine Crosson was born on May 13, 1994, in Costa Mesa, California. She began her soccer career at Mater Dei High School and played for the Southern California Blues Soccer Club. Crosson attended Santa Clara University, where she played for the Santa Clara Broncos women’s soccer team from 2012 to 2015. During her college career, she made 60 appearances, recording nine assists.

Her professional journey began in 2016 when she signed with the Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), making four appearances during the 2016 season. Seeking more playing time, Crosson moved abroad to play for Speranza FC in Japan’s Nadeshiko League Division 1 in 2016, where she played seven games as a forward. In 2017, she joined UDG Tenerife in Spain’s Liga Iberdrola as a defender. She later played for FC Gintra in Lithuania for two months, participating in UEFA Women’s Champions League competition.

Crosson returned to the NWSL, signing with the Washington Spirit as a national team replacement player in August 2018, playing the full 90 minutes in her debut match. In January 2019, she officially signed with the Washington Spirit ahead of the 2019 NWSL season and scored her first professional goal on April 13, 2019, against Sky Blue FC. Her career continued with a return to the Houston Dash in 2020 and a move to Scottish Women’s Premier League club Celtic in September 2020.
