Melanie Fiona is a Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, known for her soulful voice and impactful songwriting, who has achieved international chart success and collaborated with industry icons. After earning a Juno Award nomination for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year in 2004 with the Canadian R&B trio X-Quisite, Melanie Fiona released a self-titled album in 2003. Following the group’s disbandment, Fiona continued to hone her craft, co-writing songs for artists including Rihanna and Kardinal Offishall. Her career gained significant momentum in 2007 when she signed with Steve Rifkind at SRC Records and Universal Motown, leading to the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, ‘The Bridge,’ in June 2009.
