Merritt Wever is an Emmy Award-winning American actress known for her roles in television series such as “Nurse Jackie,” “Godless,” and “Unbelievable,” as well as films including “Birdman” and “Marriage Story.” After gaining significant recognition for her role as Zoey Barkow in the Showtime series Nurse Jackie, which ran from 2009 to 2015, Merritt Wever earned a Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Wever’s professional career began with early film work, including The Adventures of Sebastian Cole (1999) and a role as Tracey Abernathy in M. Night Shyamalans Signs (2002).
