Michael Smerconish hosts a national radio program on SiriusXM’s POTUS Channel and a weekly program on CNN, known for his independent political commentary and his work as an author and lawyer. After becoming the first talk radio host to interview a sitting President live from the White House with Barack Obama in February 2009, Michael Smerconish saw his program become nationally syndicated. His media career began in 1990 with radio appearances on Philadelphia’s 96.5 FM WWDB, leading to his own Sunday night program by 1993. He moved to CBS affiliate WPHT in 1997, ultimately taking over the station’s prominent morning slot in 2003.
