Craig Shoemaker

Craig Shoemaker is an award-winning comedian, actor, author, writer, and producer known for his extensive career in entertainment, bringing humor and insight to diverse audiences and projects. After being named Comedian of the Year at The American Comedy Awards on ABC, Craig Shoemaker established himself as an award-winning comedian, actor, author, writer, and producer, a multifaceted talent with a career spanning over three decades. Early in his career, Shoemaker garnered two NATAS Emmy awards for his distinguished work. He expanded his talents into acting, appearing as the Artsy Teacher in the horror sequel Scream 2 (1997) and starring in the feature film The LoveMaster, which earned an award at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival in 1999.

In 2003, Shoemaker founded LaughterHeals.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to using laughter as a tool for healing, reflecting his enduring commitment to leveraging humor for positive societal impact. In recognition of his significant contributions to the humanities, he received an honorary doctorate in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from California University of Pennsylvania in 2010.
