Michelle Poler is a keynote speaker, branding strategist, and entrepreneur, known as the founder of Hello Fears and the creator of 100 Days Without Fear. Through her speeches, writing and other media, Poler is on a mission to inspire people to become braver, face their fears, and get out of their comfort zones.
Venezuela-born Poler holds a master’s degree in Branding from New York City’s School of Visual Arts, and after graduation she worked as an Art Director at Young & Rubicam, where her clients included AT&T, Wendy’s and Revlon. In 2015, she created 100 Days Without Fear, an online video project where she faced one of her fears each day for 100 days. Initially a personal development project, it snowballed into a global movement of empowerment and bravery, with many others across the world following her example. The same year, she launched Hello Fears, with an aim to inspire others to choose growth over safety. Today, Hello Fears incorporates a newsletter, podcast, and popular social media channels, and engages with an audience of tens of thousands every week.
Known for her passionate and powerful voice, Poler encourages her audiences to embrace change and dare to fail. She explores how to bring out authenticity, redefine fear, and lead with accountability, and has addressed her work to sales meetings, leadership conferences, women’s organisations, and educational establishments. She has spoken for clients including Facebook, Google, Netflix, Wells Fargo and NBCUniversal, and has spoken at events including TEDx and the World Domination Summit. Poler’s work has been featured on CBS, The Today Show, CNN and Fox News, and has appeared in publications including Buzzfeed, the Daily Mail, Glamour, and the Huffington Post.
