Mihhail Selevko

Mihhail Selevko is a four-time Estonian national champion figure skater and a three-time ISU Challenger Series medalist, known for his technical skill and consistent performances. After securing his first senior national title at the 2019 Estonian Championships, Mihhail Selevko built upon a decorated junior career marked by consistent technical prowess. His early achievements include winning the Estonian Novice Championships in both 2015 and 2016. On the international junior circuit, Selevko earned a silver medal at the prestigious 2019 European Youth Olympic Winter Games, showcasing his potential at a high level.

These foundational successes paved the way for a dynamic transition into senior international competition. Selevko’s senior career saw him make his World Championship debut in 2022, where he placed fifteenth, followed by a seventeenth-place finish at the 2023 World Championships. A consistent performer in the ISU Challenger Series, he earned a bronze medal at the 2022 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb. His momentum continued at the 2022–23 European Championships, where he finished eighth overall, notably securing two spots for Estonian men’s singles skaters at the subsequent European Championships.

Despite facing illness and a leg injury at the 2025 World Championships, he demonstrated resilience to place nineteenth. Mihhail Selevko continues to train with esteemed coaches Irina Kononova and Rafael Arutyunyan, focusing on integrating more quadruple jumps into his programs and aiming for further consistency on the international stage. In addition to his commitment to elite figure skating, Selevko is a university student at the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, where he is studying game design. He is fluent in Estonian, Russian, and English, and is currently learning Finnish, making him a versatile and internationally-minded talent.
