Following his successful freshman season, Conley entered the 2007 NBA draft.
Drafted fourth overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2007, Mike Conley Jr. spent 12 seasons with the team, becoming their all-time leading scorer. During his tenure, he was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2013 and received the NBA Sportsmanship Award multiple times. A significant turning point in his career occurred in 2019 when he was traded to the Utah Jazz. With the Jazz, Conley earned his first NBA All-Star selection in 2021, marking a career highlight.
