Miles Teller is a shareholder and co-owner in The Finnish Long Drink, a brand of gin-based, ready-to-drink cocktails. He has increased his ownership stake and is involved in national marketing campaigns, working to introduce the traditional Finnish beverage profile to Americans and build the brand's presence in various markets, including a launch in Canada.
During the Super Bowl LVII telecast in 2023, Miles Teller, his wife, and their dog starred in a commercial for Bud Light, where they were seen dancing to on-hold music while waiting for a customer service representative.
Miles Teller was born on February 20, 1987, in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. His early life involved involvement in music, playing alto saxophone, drums, piano, and guitar, alongside competitive baseball. After graduating from Lecanto High School in Florida, he pursued higher education at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied method acting and screen acting, earning a BFA in drama in 2009. His career began with short films before his feature film debut.
Teller made his major film debut in “Rabbit Hole” (2010), a role he secured after being personally selected by Nicole Kidman. He gained further recognition for his role in the 2011 remake of “Footloose” and in 2013, he starred in “The Spectacular Now,” which earned him the Dramatic Special Jury Award for Acting at the Sundance Film Festival. His breakthrough came with “Whiplash” (2014), where he portrayed a jazz drummer, a role that garnered him critical acclaim and several award nominations. He also expanded into major franchises, appearing in the “Divergent” film trilogy (2014–2016) and as Mister Fantastic in “Fantastic Four” (2015).
More recently, Teller starred in biographical dramas like “War Dogs” (2016) and “Bleed for This” (2016), for which he underwent extensive physical training. He continued with films such as “Only the Brave” (2017) and “Thank You for Your Service” (2017). His career experienced a resurgence with the critically and commercially successful action film “Top Gun: Maverick” (2022). In television, he has appeared in “Too Old to Die Young” (2019) and the Paramount+ miniseries “The Offer” (2022), where he also served as an executive producer.
