Milo Manheim first gained critical acclaim winning the ‘Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role’ award at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2017 for his part in Generation Me. This recognition followed years of extensive musical theater involvement, where he participated in 20 different productions with Liza Monjauze Productions starting in 2008, including notable roles in Rent, Footloose, and Spring Awakening. Manheims breakthrough came in February 2018, starring as Zed in the Disney Channel television movie franchise Zombies. His early career also included a memorable appearance in the CBS television series Ghost Whisperer in 2009.
Manheim solidified his position as a prominent figure within the Zombies franchise, reprising his role as Zed in Zombies 2 (2020) and Zombies 3 (2022), where he also took on co-producer responsibilities for the later installments. In 2018, Manheim expanded his public profile by competing on season 27 of Dancing with the Stars, achieving a second-place finish with professional dancer Witney Carson. Further diversifying his television work, he appeared in American Housewife from 2018 to 2019 and featured in The Conners in 2021. His career continued to span across film, television, and theater, showcasing his versatility.
He will also return for the second season of School Spirits on Paramount+ in early 2025. Additionally, Manheim will star as Seymour in the Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, with performances beginning in February 2025, demonstrating his continued commitment to theatrical excellence.
