Miss Conception

Kevin Levesque, known by his stage persona Miss Conception, has established a notable career in female illusion spanning over 23 years. His journey began in the Toronto bar scene, developing into performances for sell-out audiences globally. Each year, Miss Conception launches new one-woman, live singing shows in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and Provincetown, Massachusetts. These shows feature parodies and celebrations of popular characters, movies, and TV shows, distinguished by real-time costume changes and character transitions performed live on stage.

Miss Conception’s career milestones include opening for comedian Leslie Jordan and singer Lorna Luft, and working with Tony award-winning actress Jennifer Holliday. Her work extends to television appearances on ‘Queer as Folk’ and ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation.’ A unique achievement was being the first contestant to complete the course on ‘Wipeout Canada’ while in full drag. Beyond stage and screen, Miss Conception is a featured entertainer on ocean and river cruises across Europe, collaborating with companies such as Brand G Vacations and Concierge Travel. Kevin Levesque also dedicates his time to philanthropic efforts, consistently raising funds for ‘Until There’s A Cure’.

Originating from Mississauga, Ontario, Kevin Levesque’s early interest in performance, fostered through childhood entertainment and community theatre, led him to study drama and dance. His introduction to drag at age 19 marked the inception of Miss Conception. Over the years, she has accumulated numerous titles including Zelda’s Drag Idol, Miss Canada Continental, Miss Gay Universe, and Entertainer of the Year. Her performance credits also include an acting role as Miss Conception in the 2010 short film “A Dragged Out Affair” and the 2011 TV short “Deep Tissue,” further solidifying her presence and versatility in the entertainment industry.
