Lawrence Washington, professionally known as Miss Lawrence, was born on October 13, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Early in his career, he developed an interest in beauty and fashion, leading him to become a licensed hairstylist after studying at the Paul Mitchell Institute. This path led to a significant turning point when he became the personal hairstylist for Sheree Whitfield. His association with Whitfield subsequently brought him into the national spotlight through his appearances on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” from 2008 to 2017, where he initially worked as a makeup artist before becoming a recurring on-screen presence.

Building on his television exposure, Miss Lawrence expanded his career into hosting, co-hosting the Bravo series “Fashion Queens” from 2013 to 2015. This role elevated his profile as a commentator on celebrity style and fashion. Concurrently, he ventured into music, releasing a single, “Closet Freak,” in 2011, and an EP, “Don’t Stop,” in 2012. His acting career began to take shape with a notable appearance on “Empire” in 2015, followed by a regular role as Miss Bruce in Lee Daniels’ series “Star,” which he held from 2016 to 2019 across 48 episodes.
