World famous as the host and star of popular Food Network cooking show Girl Meets Farm, Molly Yeh is an American cookbook author and blogger. The Emmy and James Beard Award-nominated star first rose to prominence with the release of her memoir and debut cookbook, Molly On The Range: Recipes and Stories from an Unlikely Life on a Farm. The cookbook was a huge success and selected by New York Times as one of the top releases in autumn 2016, and won the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP), “Judge’s Award.” In 2018 she followed the success of her debut title with Yogurt by Short Stack Editions, and in 2022 released Home Is Where The Eggs Are: Farmhouse Food for the People You Love, which has already been named a top release by the likes of The Takeout, Forbes and Saveur.
Yeh is also the creator of lifestyle and food blog, www.mynameisyeh.com, which was named “Food Blog of the Year” by Yahoo and Saveur. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Food & Wine, New York Times, Glamour, Wall Street Journal Magazine, USA Today, Bon Appetit, and New York Magazine, and she has contributed to Saveur, Food52, Vanity Fair, The Jewish Daily Forward and Condé Nast Traveler.
Before following her passion for food, Yeh performed with orchestras around the world as a Juilliard-trained percussionist and as the glockenspielist for the pop-band San Fermin. After spending time in New York as a musician she fell in love with food, and the rest is history.
