Hilarious comedian, podcast host and author Ms. Pat is known for her stand up shows, her podcast called The Patdown, and an upcoming sitcom based on her life.
Ms. Pat has been open about her difficult past and how the struggles of her past have shaped her into who she is today. As a child she was sexually abused, having her first child when she was 14 and her second when she was 15. She started selling crack cocaine when she was a teenager in order to support herself and her two children, going on to be arrested several times over the next few years. She started to turn her life around, adopting her sister’s children after she fell victim to drug addiction. Ms. Pat dedicated her life to being a mother, but one day her caseworker encouraged her to start performing stand up after hearing her tell funny stories during a meeting. She started to perform at open mic nights and comedy clubs, quickly forging a career for herself and gaining a reputation as an up and coming entertainer. In 2015 she was a contestant on Last Comic Standing, and the following year performed at Montreal Comedy Festival. She has appeared on countless television shows and podcasts including Stand Up in Stilettos, The Joe Rogan Experience and The CrabFeast.
Ms. Pat is now the host of The Patdown with Ms Pat, her own podcast where she hosts special guests and discusses a huge range of topics. In 2017 her first book, Rabbit, was released and a TV show based on her life and work is due for release in 2021.
