Tony Amendola is a veteran actor known for his extensive work in film, television, and video games. After establishing a formidable stage career, Tony Amendola moved to Los Angeles in 1978, where he spent the initial 12 years of his professional life performing in acclaimed productions Off-Broadway and in leading roles at regional theaters across America. His impressive stage credits included iconic characters such as Cyrano, Iago, Uncle Vanya, Shylock, Salieri, and Lear at renowned venues including the Mark Taper Forum, Berkeley Repertory, American Conservatory Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Utah Shakespeare, La Jolla Playhouse, and the Old Globe. Amendola then transitioned into film with his debut in Partners in Crime (1984), marking the beginning of a prolific screen career spanning over four decades.

Amendola is also a founding member and former Co-Artistic Director of the Antaeus Company, a Los Angeles-based theater dedicated to classical productions, further underscoring his deep roots in the performing arts. Looking ahead, he is slated to appear in Mafia: The Old Country (2025) and continues his iconic voice work as Archmage Khadgar in the latest World of Warcraft expansion, The War Within (2024), maintaining his impactful presence across film, television, and video games.
