Hamilton Nash Grier was born on December 28, 1997, in Greensboro, North Carolina. His internet career began in early 2013 with the launch of the video-sharing platform Vine. While attending Davidson Day School, Grier started posting short comedy videos, which quickly gained significant traction. By 2015, he had become the second most-followed user on Vine, demonstrating an early and effective understanding of digital content creation and audience engagement. His early success led to appearances on television shows such as “Good Morning America” and “The View,” solidifying his presence beyond digital spheres.
As his online influence grew, Grier became a key figure in the Magcon (Meet and Greet Convention) group in October 2013, alongside other Vine stars like Cameron Dallas and Shawn Mendes. This initiative allowed fans to interact directly with internet celebrities, drawing thousands to events across the country. Following the Magcon group’s disbandment in April 2014, Grier relocated to Los Angeles to further his career. He diversified his ventures by releasing mobile games and social media applications, including “Cash Dash,” “Mobli,” and “Challenged.” He also launched his own merchandise line and collaborated with Aéropostale for a clothing line named “UnitedXXVI,” showcasing his ability to leverage his online popularity into various commercial enterprises.
Grier expanded into acting, securing his first lead role in Fullscreen’s film “The Outfield,” which premiered in November 2015. He also directed a music video for Bera titled “I Look Good On You.” His acting career continued with roles in “The Deleted” (2016), “You Get Me” alongside Bella Thorne (2017), and a guest role in “Scream” (2019). Beyond acting, Grier has expressed interest in animated projects, contributing his voice to films like “Air Bound” and “Gnome Alone.” In his personal life, Grier married Taylor Giavasis in 2024, with whom he shares two children, marking a shift towards family-focused content alongside his ongoing professional endeavors.
