Natalia Reyes

Natalia Reyes Gaitán was born on February 6, 1987, in Bogotá, Colombia. Her career in acting began at the age of nine, participating in theatre plays, television series, and films in her native country. To further her craft, she relocated to New York in 2011, where she graduated from The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. This early dedication to her artistic development provided a foundation for her subsequent work in both Colombian and international productions.

Reyes gained significant recognition in Latin America for her role in the Sony TV series ‘Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas’ in 2015, which became the most-watched series in Colombia and on Netflix Latin America at the time. Her cinematic performances also garnered attention, notably in the acclaimed award-winning film ‘Birds of Passage’ (2018). Her career reached an international milestone when she secured the starring role of Dani Ramos in James Cameron’s ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ (2019), allowing her to work alongside established actors like Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Following this, she continued to expand her filmography with projects such as ‘Running with the Devil’ (2019) and ‘Sumergible’ (2020).

Beyond acting, Reyes has also taken on producing roles, demonstrating her broader engagement in the film industry. She served as an executive producer for films like ‘Noviembre’ (2025) and ‘It Would Be Night in Caracas’ (2025). In 2023, she became the youngest President of the Academia Colombiana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematograficas, signaling her commitment to advancing the Colombian entertainment industry. Her work extends across various genres, consistently contributing to both independent and major productions while maintaining ties with her roots, dividing her time between the USA and Colombia.
