Nathan Jones established himself as a formidable presence in competitive strength athletics, earning the moniker ‘Megaman’ in the mid-1990s. Following his emergence into powerlifting post-1994, he quickly became the National Powerlifting Champion of Australia. Jones cemented his strongman legacy in 1995 by winning the World Strength Championship in Callander, Scotland, and further by securing first place in the World Strongman Challenge in 1996. His imposing 6′ 11′ stature also led to appearances at the World’s Strongest Man contests in both 1995 and 1996, and his mixed martial arts debut at Pride 1 in 1997.

More recently, Jones captivated audiences as the menacing Rictus Erectus in the critically acclaimed Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), a role he reprised in the 2024 prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. His diverse filmography also includes Reiko in Mortal Kombat (2021), a Russian Fighter Pilot in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019), and Rogan in Spiderhead (2022). Jones continues to expand his presence in film, with upcoming roles including Goliath in David and Axelrod Thrasher in Gearhead.
