Nathaniel Hackett

Nathaniel Hackett has a career spanning a multitude of coaching roles in both college and professional football, including offensive coordinator positions and a stint as a head coach in the NFL. After leading the Green Bay Packers to the league’s top scoring offense in 2020 and contributing to quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ back-to-back MVP awards in 2020 and 2021 as Offensive Coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett has built a distinguished career spanning numerous coaching roles in both college and professional football. Hackett’s foundational experience in football began in 2003 as an assistant linebackers coach for UC Davis. He then transitioned to Stanford, serving as an offensive/defensive assistant from 2003 to 2004, and later as a specialists/recruiting coordinator in 2005.

Following his time with the Broncos, he joined the New York Jets as their offensive coordinator in 2023. He remained with the Jets through a challenging start to the 2024 season, before departing the organization later that year. In July 2025, Hackett rejoined the Green Bay Packers, marking his second tenure with the franchise, this time as a defensive analyst. This unique role leverages his extensive offensive perspective to enhance the team’s defensive strategies and preparation, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of NFL game planning.
