Nicole Schmidhofer

Nicole Schmidhofer is an accomplished Austrian alpine ski racer, specializing in downhill and Super-G events, who achieved World Championship and World Cup titles during her career. After earning a gold medal in the Super-G at the 2017 World Championships, Nicole Schmidhofer solidified her position as an accomplished Austrian alpine ski racer. Schmidhofer made her World Cup debut in March 2007, showcasing early potential with a 14th-place finish in the Super-G in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. After several years of consistent top-15 placements, she achieved her first World Cup podium finish in Super-G in 2013, marking a significant turning point in her career trajectory.

The 2018/19 World Cup season represented a pinnacle of consistency and success for Schmidhofer, culminating in three victories and three additional podium placements. During this period, she secured her first career wins in the Downhill discipline with triumphs in two races at Lake Louise.
