Oh Jin Hyek is a decorated archer known for his Olympic gold medals and consistent high-level performance in international competitions. After securing a historic individual gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, becoming the first Korean male archer to achieve this feat, Oh Jin Hyek went on to establish a dominant career in international archery. Having first joined the Korean national team in 1999, his Olympic debut in 2012 also saw him secure a bronze medal in the men’s team event. This breakthrough was followed by a period as the world number one ranked archer from April 2013 to June 2014.
