Orlando Jones

Orlando Jones is an accomplished actor, comedian, writer, and producer known for his versatile performances in film and television, including his significant role as the spokesperson for 7 Up. After contributing his writing talents to the NBC comedy series A Different World in 1987, where he also held a guest role, Orlando Jones went on to establish a multifaceted career as an actor, comedian, writer, and producer. Early in his career, he co-founded Homeboy’s Productions and Advertising, a production company that notably worked on commercial projects including a McDonald’s campaign featuring Michael Jordan. Jones further honed his writing skills for the Fox series Roc from 1991 to 1992 and co-produced The Sinbad Show in 1993, showcasing his versatility across various production roles.

Nancy (Anansi) in the Starz series American Gods, a role for which he earned a Black Reel Award for Outstanding Guest Actor, Comedy Series in 2022.
