Former professional Footballer Orlando Pace played in the NFL as an offensive tackle for 13 seasons, mainly with the St Louis Rams.
Pace was a successful football player in his youth, playing for the Sandusky Blue Streaks at his high school and being named as an All America player by both USA Today and Parade magazine. In 1994 he joined the Ohio State Buckeyes football team at Ohio State University, winning both the Lombardi Award and the Outland Trophy during his time at college. In 1997 he was drafted first overall as an offensive lineman for the St Louis Rams, going on to play for the side until 2009. During his time with the club, he became one of the most highly regarded players of his generation, playing in the Pro Bowl an impressive 7 times, as well as the First Team All Pro three times. He was also part of the Super Bowl winning team in 1999 and was named as part of the NFL 2000’s All Decade Team. Pace was inducted into both the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013 and the Pro Bowl Hall of Fame in 2016 and is widely regarded as one of the strongest players of all time.
Since his retirement from the pitch in 2011, Pace has remained a key figure in the world of Football, regularly appearing on podcasts and donating tens of thousands of dollars in scholarship money to his former school, Sandusky High School.
