Paige Renee Spiranac was born on March 26, 1993, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Her early athletic pursuits included gymnastics, with aspirations of competing in the Olympics. However, a significant injury involving a twice-broken kneecap at age 12 shifted her focus to golf. She was homeschooled during her formative years due to bullying and anxiety, dividing her time between Scottsdale, Arizona, and Monument, Colorado, to facilitate year-round golf training.
In her junior golf career, Spiranac achieved notable success, securing five tournament victories on Colorado’s junior circuit, including the 2010 CWGA Junior Stroke Play. She was recognized as a top-20 world junior player, a top-5 college recruit, a two-time West Region Player of the Year, and a first-team All-American as a Future Collegians World Tour member. These achievements led her to earn a golf scholarship to the University of Arizona. She later transferred to San Diego State University for her sophomore year, where she experienced further success. Her collegiate golf career culminated in leading the San Diego State Aztecs to their first Mountain West Conference Championship in 2015, a moment she described as one of the happiest of her life.
Following her collegiate career, Spiranac briefly entered professional golf in 2016. She debuted on the developmental Cactus Tour, notably securing a win over Hannah O’Sullivan, then the top-ranked amateur in the world. She continued to compete, achieving a 17th-place finish at the Aliante Golf Club in June 2016, a seventh-place finish at Walnut Creek, and making the cut at the Scottish Open in the Ladies’ European Tour. That same year, she finished ninth at the CoBank Colorado Women’s Open and achieved two more top-five finishes on the Cactus Tour, ending the season 11th on the money list with $8,010 in winnings. In August 2016, she participated in her first LPGA Qualifying Tournament but did not secure a card for the professional circuit, leading her to transition from competitive play to a career centered on modeling and social media.
