Kevin Andreas Teller, born on January 24, 1997, in Köpenick, Berlin, began his journey into content creation early in life. Growing up in Königs Wusterhausen, Teller initially pursued dancing at the age of eleven, participating in professional dance competitions. His early interest in media composition was evident when, in 7th grade, he co-founded a YouTube channel called ‘SchnitzelTV’ with two friends, where they produced comedy videos. This early experience laid the groundwork for his future in digital content. Upon the disbandment of ‘SchnitzelTV,’ Teller transitioned to Twitch, where he found his niche in live streaming.
Teller’s career progression saw him obtain a Twitch partnership in February 2014, marking a significant step in his streaming endeavors. He pursued higher education, studying electrical engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin after graduating from Friedrich Schiller Gymnasium. However, after six months, he decided to discontinue his studies and professional dancing to focus entirely on his burgeoning career as an influencer and streamer. This decision proved to be a turning point, allowing him to dedicate himself fully to his online presence. Since mid-2021, he has been with his partner Masha and currently resides in Cologne, Germany.
Over the years, Papaplatte has achieved several milestones, including co-hosting the weekly comedy podcast ‘Edeltalk’ with Dominik Reezmann since November 2018. This podcast has expanded into live shows and a book publication. In February 2021, he, alongside Trymacs, set a Twitch record by reaching a total of 356,000 viewers during a live event featuring Pokémon trading cards. A Twitch data leak from August 2019 to October 2021 revealed Papaplatte earned approximately 1.29 million euros from subscriptions and donations, solidifying his position as one of the highest-earning German-speaking streamers. His ventures also include music releases, participation in reality shows like ‘7 vs. Wild’ in 2023, and television appearances on shows hosted by Joko and Klaas.
