Pat Connaughton was born on January 6, 1993, in Arlington, Massachusetts, USA. He attended Notre Dame, where he excelled in both basketball and baseball. In 2015, he was drafted by the NBA in the second round as pick 41. He began his professional basketball career with the Portland Trail Blazers, playing as a guard.
Connaughton joined the Milwaukee Bucks in 2018. During his time with the Bucks, he played a crucial role in the team’s success, culminating in an NBA championship in 2021. He continued to compete at a high level, demonstrating consistent performance in points, rebounds, and assists. In 2024, Connaughton was traded to the Charlotte Hornets, where he continues his career as a guard, bringing years of NBA experience to his new team.
Beyond his athletic achievements, Pat Connaughton has expanded his professional endeavors. He co-founded Three Leaf Partners, a real estate development and property management company with projects in Milwaukee, Portland, and other locations, aimed at helping athletes manage their real estate portfolios. He also established the Pat Connaughton Foundation, which focuses on inspiring young basketball players through camps, court development, and character building. The foundation has partnered with organizations like Shooting Touch to establish international courts and with Gateway Sports Academy to launch new courts domestically, further demonstrating his commitment to community development and youth sports.
