Torey DeFalco is a talented American professional volleyball player who is a member of the United States national team. He was a participant in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and has made multiple impressive appearances playing internationally. While at college at California State University in Long Beach, DeFalco won the NCAA National Championships in both 2018 and 2019. He currently plays in the Outside Hitter position for the top-flight Polish team Asseco Resovia.
DeFalco made quite the impression while at college, reaching the NCAA Final Four during all four years of his education from 2016 to 2019. He also was named AVCA Player of the Year twice in 2017 and 2019. Add to that the fact that he was named an AVCA First Team All American all four years, as well as the Most Outstanding Player of the 2019 NCAA Championships. After ending an illustrious collegiate career, DeFalco signed professionally with the Italian club Volley Callipo, before moving to Poland to hone his skills at AZS Olsztyn and Asseco Resovia. At an international level, DeFalco won bronze at the 2019 FIVB World Cup and 2018 FIVB Nations League, as well as silver at the 2022 FIVB Nations League and 209 NORCECA Championship. Over his relatively short career he has accumulated a great number of individual awards for his incisive spiking ability.
