Paula Jacklin is an English darts player known for her extensive career in World Darts Federation (WDF) events and her advocacy for pay equality in the sport.
Paula Jacklin was born on March 24, 1957. She began her professional darts career participating in British Darts Organisation (BDO) and World Darts Federation (WDF) events starting in 2012. Her early career saw her accumulate various titles in women’s darts tournaments across Europe. She achieved significant success in 2014, winning both the Northern Ireland Open Women and the Gibraltar Open Women. This established her presence within the international darts circuit.
Throughout her career, Jacklin has consistently competed at a high level. She secured multiple titles, including three Torremolinos Open Women championships in 2016, 2018, and 2019, alongside additional victories in the Greek Open Women and Acropolis Darts Open Women in 2019. Her continued participation in major events, including multiple appearances in the BDO/WDF World Championships where she reached the Last 16 stage several times between 2015 and 2020, demonstrates her sustained commitment to the sport. She has also participated in the World Masters and World Darts Trophy events.
More recently, Paula Jacklin has continued to add to her list of achievements, winning the Malta Open Women in 2021, the Torremolinos Classic Women in 2022, the Helvetia Open Women in 2024, and the Slovak Masters Women in 2025. Ranked among the top female darts players globally, she holds positions such as #27 in the WDF Main Ranking Women. Beyond her competitive achievements, Jacklin has also publicly advocated for pay equality in darts, reflecting her influence within the sport.
