Pauline Jayne

Paulina Jayne was born into a musical family, with her mother being part of an a cappella group. She began piano lessons at age five, initially disliking them until her mother fostered an appreciation for classical music by explaining the expressive nature of notes. A few years later, she discovered the guitar, which became the catalyst for her songwriting. Her music evolved from classical to pop, ultimately finding its home in country music due to its emphasis on storytelling. Growing up in Michigan, her musical influences included Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, and Kelly Clarkson. Her father also contributed to her musical development by focusing on rhythmic aspects, providing her with a comprehensive musical upbringing.

Jayne signed her first record deal at age 13, which provided her with opportunities to perform extensively, including opening for Sheryl Crow and playing at amphitheaters. In 2016, she released “Love’s Gonna Always Win” and “Big Booty Country Girl.” Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn referred to her as “Dolly Parton, Jr.” after her performance opening for Keith Urban and Vince Gill at Bridgestone Arena. Her 2017 song, “Country Music Everywhere,” paid tribute to classic country tunes. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 led to the cancellation of over 80 tour dates, prompting her to focus on songwriting and self-production. This period solidified her intentional approach to her music and its message.

As an independent artist, Jayne has opened for numerous artists including Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt, Mitchell Tenpenny, Old Dominion, and Sheryl Crow. She has collaborated with acclaimed songwriters such as Rob Crosby, Michael Farren, Houston Philips, Dave Turnbull, Shane McAnally, and JT Harding. In 2021, she released “Drove By,” followed by “Half” in 2023. Her 2025 releases include “Each Time I Fell,” “After the Party’s Over,” “If I Knew Me Then,” and “Why’d We Ever Leave,” with regular new music planned. She has received an ASCAP Award and Robert Oermann’s DISCovery Award, and her music videos have been featured on CMT. Her television appearances include Netflix’s “Top Grier” and a nationwide Folgers Coffee commercial on ION. Jayne is also a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in guitar, piano, bass, mandolin, and banjo, and she co-produces her music with Mike Hicks. She has cultivated a strong social media presence through viral TikTok series like “but make it country” and “met a stranger.” She is a celebrity ambassador for Miss Amazing, Inc., and is endorsed by AMI Guitars, G7th Capos, and Bluesman Vintage Guitars.
