Peter Attia, MD, is a physician, author, and podcast host renowned for his expertise in longevity and life optimization, providing insights for brands focused on health and wellness. After earning his Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2001, Peter Attia, MD, completed a residency in general surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 2001 to 2006. During this period, he also served for two years as a surgical oncology fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NIH), focusing his research on immune-based therapies for melanoma. Following his surgical training, Dr.
Attia transitioned to McKinsey & Company, contributing to both the Corporate Risk Practice and Healthcare Practice in their Palo Alto office. He had previously earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and applied mathematics from Queen’s University at Kingston in 1996.
