Peter Jordan (Ei Nerd)

Peter Maximilian Jordan was born on January 3, 1977, in Petrópolis, Brazil. He developed an early interest in pop and geek culture, particularly comic books, and later gained access to his first computer, which solidified his “nerd” identity. Trained in programming, Jordan initially sought a career that would allow him to work from home to be closer to his family. This aspiration led him to explore content creation on the internet, which eventually became his primary professional focus.

In 2003, Peter Jordan founded Cifras.com.br, a website that gained significant popularity and financial success, enabling him to transition away from his programming job. This venture marked an early milestone in his entrepreneurial journey. In 2013, he launched the YouTube channel Ei Nerd, which was conceived as a diverse entertainment platform covering cinema, anime, and superheroes. The channel’s growth led him to step back from his internet advertising sales company. By 2019, Ei Nerd had developed into a substantial operation supported by a team of writers, video editors, and social media professionals. In June 2020, the Ei Nerd channel reached 10 million subscribers. Jordan expanded his online presence by creating additional channels: Acredite ou Não in 2015 for curiosities, Peter Aqui two years later for personal insights, Nerds de Negócios in 2020 for financial topics, and Mala Feita in 2022, alongside his wife, documenting their travels and life in the United States.

Jordan is the CEO of Petaxxon, a technology company based in Brazil and the United States, which manages Cifras.com.br. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with numerous awards, including multiple victories at the Prêmio Influenciadores Digitais and Prêmio iBest for his contributions to culture, entertainment, economics, and as “Creator of the Year” and “Youtuber of the Year.” He has also made appearances on television programs such as “The Noite com Danilo Gentili” in May 2019 and “Zero1” with Tiago Leifert.
