After honing his skills in rapid response during the Al Gore 2000 presidential campaign, Philippe Reines went on to establish a significant career in American political consulting and strategic communications. In 2001, he served as Gore’s teaching assistant and de facto spokesperson at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, further contributing material for Al Gore’s appearance on Saturday Night Live in December 2002.
