Phillip Evans is a professional baseball infielder known for his versatility and consistent hitting across various leagues, making his mark from minor league circuits to Major League Baseball. After being drafted by the New York Mets in the 15th round of the 2011 First-Year Player Draft, Phillip Evans quickly established himself as a versatile infielder with consistent offensive capabilities. His early career saw him progress through the Mets’ minor league system, with notable stints including the Brooklyn Cyclones in 2012 and the Savannah Sand Gnats in 2013. A significant turning point arrived in 2016 when he led the Eastern League in batting average while playing for the Binghamton Mets, showcasing his offensive prowess with a .335 average, 30 doubles, and eight home runs across 96 games.

After electing free agency in 2023, Evans signed a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves in December 2023. In 2024, Evans further broadened his professional experience by joining the Toros de Tijuana in the Mexican League.
