Prosper Muna

Prosper Muna, also known by his stage name P. Muna, was born in 1991 and grew up in a single-parent household, moving from the Catskills to Albany, New York. His early life was marked by his mother’s dedication and hard work, which instilled in him a strong work ethic. Athletically gifted, Muna excelled in football at Albany Academy, where he was recognized as a First-team All-Area linebacker by the Albany Times Union and led his team with 80 tackles. He earned Reinfurt Division first-team and all-league recognition during his senior year, demonstrating his commitment and skill.

Muna continued his academic and athletic pursuits at the University of Albany, where he majored in English and minored in Africana Studies. In 2016, he gained wider recognition as a cast member on MTV’s reality dating series, “Are You the One?” season 4. During his time on the show, which premiered on June 13, 2016, Muna’s main relationship was with Emma Sweigard, who was identified as his perfect match in the ninth Truth Booth. This experience provided a platform from which he further launched his career in entertainment and media.

Beyond reality television, Muna has pursued a career in music, sharing stages with notable artists such as Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki, Lupe Fiasco, 2 Chainz, Mac Miller, and Juicy J. He released his EP, “Live Long & Prosper,” which features six tracks, including “Let It Go.” He has also ventured into writing, with a forthcoming book titled “The Game,” aiming to provide a deeper understanding of his experiences. Additionally, Muna released another EP, “1991,” named after his birth year, exploring themes of personal journey and finding purpose. He currently resides in New York City, balancing his music career with work as a personal trainer.
